Beautiful Natasha | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Natasha married her gorgeous new hubby Jonathan at the Union Chapel in September this year. The newlyweds and their guests went on to celebrate with a huge party at the Old Finsbury Town Hall down the road.

The couple aren’t keen on formalities so the ‘Pub Tropicana’ theme they chose was totally inspired!

“The ever-growing guest list meant we couldn’t have our party in a pub, so we wanted to bring the pub to the Town Hall with a makeshift bar serving G&T’s and Mexican cocktails on tap with a load of fancy dress, tropical plants and Caribbean food thrown in for good measure.”

Natasha came to see us in January after saving the Willow dress on Instagram when helping research for a friend.

“Once I was engaged Halfpenny HQ was the first bridal shop on my list. On the day of our visit, Kate was in the studio and it was a brilliant experience. Kate is a dab hand at putting you at ease and makes the whole experience really enjoyable – encouraging you to be the bride you want to be and choose a dress that suits your personal style and makes you feel totally yourself.

The Willow dress was the first dress I tried on and I loved the embroidery, the low V back and bat wings. The Halfpenny dresses are beautiful and unlike other dresses I had seen before – a perfect combination of beautifully made dresses which are classic styles with a modern twist. I tried on other dresses but was absolutely taken with the Willow. Every bride has heaps of wedmin so I was really happy to have the dress sorted on my first visit!”

Natasha chose to keep her accessories to a minimum and allow the beautiful embroidery of the Willow dress to speak for itself so the pieces she did decide to wear were precious.

“I wore some jewellery given to me by my bridesmaids and some pearl earrings from Mum and grandma Susie. I wore this with my signature pink Mac lipstick on the day and pink was the accent colour for the wedding. My florist Emma Soulsby was brilliant in bringing together the most beautiful bouquets which were a combination of King Proteas teamed with plenty of foliage and pops of pink roses and dahlias.”

Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous images with us Natasha. I’m thrilled you found your perfect dress in our boutique and huge congratulations to you both!

Lots of love,
