Stunning Harriet | A real Halfpenny London bride
Gorgeous bride Harriet and her new hubby tied the knot in May this year in a magical springtime inspired ceremony.
"We embraced all things spring like for our day – inspired by the season and the dress! We wanted it to be a really relaxed celebration so filled the day with little surprises for our guests like a fab magician in the afternoon, live music and a saxophone in the evening. We ate lamb, drank gin and embraced the sunshine!"
Harriet wore the Rosa corset and Dita tulle skirt which she purchased from our amazing stockist in Northern Ireland, the White Gallery.
"Before this I found that lots of dresses were very similar, nothing in the Halfpenny collection was like any wedding dress I had ever seen, it was like playing dress up but as an adult! The White Gallery was just beautiful every little detail and Rachel made me feel so special.
"Although the Rosa corset and Dita skirt were not what I thought I wanted I couldn’t help but try them on because they were just so beautiful! As soon as I put them on I was grinning and knew I would be the happiest bride I could be in them. Which at the end of the day is what it’s all about. It was the first dress that I had a uncontrollable smile in!"
Rosa and Dita were the perfect choice for Harriet! She looks absolutely gorgeous and I'm not surprised she couldn't stop smiling! She finished off her look with a simple pair of blush suede courts from Office and her sister’s veil which she had altered to suit her aisle style. The final touch was a little pair of blue drop earrings which her dad had given to her mum as a gift as her something borrowed and blue.
Congratulations to the newlyweds! We wish you long and happy lives loving each other.
Lots of love,
Kate & the Halfpennys xxx
