Thoroughly Modern Marriage | Ace Hotel with Knot & Pop
The Halfpennys and I were lucky enough to join the lovely team at the The Ace Hotel on their Rooftop for A Thoroughly Modern Marriage, an experience created in partnership with London-based wedding planners Knot & Pop. We met so many fantastic couples there and all of the suppliers really pulled it out of the bag to make it a superb event. We love the Ace so it was a real pleasure to sip a glass of prosecco and enjoy panoramic views of London.
James and I joined the panel discussion on ‘What makes a thoroughly Modern marriage’ alongside Danielle Pender (Riposte), Pip Black (FRAME), Hattie Fox (That Flower Shop) & Olivia Knight (Patchwork). There were so many pearls of wisdom which came out of the discussion but the main thing was that there are no secrets to a successful marriage. Only good ol’ fashioned communication, patience and respect for each other.
Thank you to all the wonderful couples to came to say hi to us. Can’t wait to welcome you into the boutique!
Love,
Kate & the Halfpennys xxx
