Gorgeous Poppy | A Real Halfpenny London bride

Our gorgeous bride Poppy married her lovely new hubby this summer in a relaxed, country wedding in Nun Monkton in North Yorkshire. Poppy saw a picture of the Harbour dress and Woburn skirt on our Instagram and knew she had to come and try it for herself.

I chose the Harbour dress as it is elegant and a timeless classic. It fits so perfectly and the slight stretch in the fabric makes it very flattering. I loved the Harbour dress on its own but the Woburn skirt with its detailed layering and varied textures, added the drama I was looking for. The two pieces, worn together, offered a perfect mix of classic tailoring and high fashion. I knew from [the moment I saw it on Instagram], this was my dream dress. On my wedding day, a number of my guests commented on how perfectly the dress suited my style, like it was made for me.“

Poppy looked sensational on her big day! Her hair and make up were flawless and the loosely tied bouquet completed the look with a mix of blush roses with garden flowers, wild fresh green olive, eucalyptus and poppy heads, as a nod to her name. She also wore a delicate diamond necklace which was given as her ‘something new’ present by her mum and maid of honour.
