Gorgeous Ruth | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Ruth and her gorgeous hubby tied the knot in September last year. Inspired by her Spanish heritage, Ruth captured the magic of the Andalusian countryside for her big day.

“It was authentic and rural with wild flowers and olive leaves everywhere. In the chapel, I tried to re-create the wedding scene from Baz luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet with candles everywhere.”

Ruth chose our Sarah dress as she was looking for something elegant and classic.

“Halfpenny was the only dress shop I visited, and it was the second dress I ever tried on. My stylist quickly picked out about 5 dresses and her enthusiastic energy instantly made me feel at ease. I was a bit anxious but within 10 mins I got into it and felt amazing when I left. The boutique is pretty and cozy inside. I chose the Sarah dress because I wanted something very simple – that would just fall off my frame. I felt like a movie star in it. From the moment I put that dress on, I knew it was the one. My mum’s eyes started watering and I felt gorgeous in it. I felt on a natural high and could imagine walking down the aisle in it.”
