Lovely Elise | A real Halfpenny London bride

Gorgeous bride Elise married her new hubby in May this year in a 12th century castle in the Tuscan countryside. There amongst the olive groves, in a beautiful fairy-lit courtyard their rustic, romantic wedding dreams came true.

After finding inspiration in a magazine, Elise’s search for her perfect dress brought her to our boutique in Woburn Walk.

“From the moment we stepped into the magical boutique and were greeted by Katie, my Mum, sister and I were instantly at home! It felt like a fairytale dress-up scenario, with Katie understanding immediately what I was looking for, and offering just the right amount of help and advice. I’d seen an image of a similar Halfpenny dress combination in a magazine, and when I tried it on I just knew it was the one, and I was able to work with the team on a few adjustments to make it perfect! The breeze corset was the perfect halfway house between a sweetheart and straight neckline and cinched in my waist nicely, and the little capped sleeves on the Iris jacket were really flattering, I loved the v-neck back too and elegant buttons. Having always had a passion for dance and ballet, the tulle skirt on top felt very apt, and I just loved the fullness and way it moved. I absolutely loved the slinkier Ava skirt underneath, which I removed on the day just in time for the first dance, which involved many spins and dips! When I tried it on, I felt really happy and like me…I just wanted to play around in it for hours.”
