Lovely Lizzie | A real Halfpenny London bride

Gorgeous bride Lizzie married her beau in July last year. The couple and their guests enjoyed a church wedding followed by a reception in the aforementioned chateau.

Lizzie wanted something sleek and elegant to wear for her big day and hadn’t enjoyed her dress hunt before coming to Halfpenny London. I was lucky enough to meet Lizzie at our boutique and happily guided her in the right direction. I knew Lizzie would love the Cheryl dress the minute she started describing what she would like to wear. She looked sensational in it and we knew it was the one!

“I went to about ten boutiques in London, one in Paris, flew home to NY for appointments at a few shops, and even went to a bridal shop in Frankfurt where one of my bridesmaids lives! Most of their choice came with lace, beads, sequins and crystals and told me they didn’t stock anything ‘plain’. I had a VIP appointment with Kate, and she knew right away what I was and wasn’t looking for. She grabbed a number of dresses for me to try, but the very first one I tried was the one! Cheryl was the perfect balance between classic and unique. The dress was beautifully cut, the silk was incredible, and it hung perfectly. I finally had that moment other brides had told me about!”

I’m so pleased we were able to turn Lizzie’s experience around and allow her to find her dream dress and have that special moment. Lizzie completed her look with gold and pearl earrings from Maison Sabben and Aquazzurra heels. I think she looked incredible and I’m so pleased to have been involved in her wedding journey.
