Beautiful Lynn | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Lynn and her new hubby tied the knot in Luxembourg on Valentine’s Day this year. Lynn works in the lunar exploration industry and this inspired the couple’s space and childhood dreams theme for their celebration. Lynn said “space has this unique power to inspire people, it makes them dream big which is so important - at any stage of life.” So beautiful!

Lynn carried that theme onto her choice of outfit with our gorgeous star overskirt which she paired with the Iris slip and the draped back Laura top.

“I started looking for a dress with my mom in Paris. In the first shop which happened to be a Halfpenny London partner, I fell in love with the dress. I bought it there but it felt wrong not to buy it in London, the very home to Kate’s captivating designs. So I came to London to get the Laura top and the overskirt. I like that my dress ended up as a combination of two of my favorite European cities - the ever-charming French capital and London which still feels a lot like home after leaving 7 years ago.

I chose the Laura, Iris Slip, Stars combination because I like minimalistic clothes with cuts that have this extra pinch of elegance. I never really look back at my decisions with regret. I fell in love with the dress and I didn’t look at any other dresses once I had bought it. It’s a bit like finding Christophe. Found him, knew he was the right one and kept him.”

Lynn and Christophe’s party was filled with fun and laughter. “Another highlight was my dad, dancing on stage with Boogiestorm, the mind-blowing stormtroopers from Britain’s got Talent. It was such a fun night! My grandma who stayed until the very end (4am) looks at the pictures every single day. She said she will never forget how happy Christophe and I looked on our very special day.”
