Stunning Julia | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Julia and her new hubby had to juggle their wedding date around their house construction and lots of business travel for the busy couple. This meant that prep time was cut to a minimum and they found they actually quite liked it that way! The couple kept everything super personal, creating the invitations and thank you cards themselves in a gorgeous touch.

Julia knew she was a Halfpenny London bride and came straight to us!

“Halfpenny is the one and only for me. I’d started looking online but all I could find were those wedding dresses, and as much as I like princesses and mermaids, I’m none of them... I’m a modern business woman in her mid 30s.  When I spotted a halfpenny dress on Pinterest during a lunch break, it became clear to me: that’s it! I called the Halfpennys right away and flew over from Luxembourg. My best friend who I’ve known for 35 years came with me, and the moment we entered the boutique we spotted a dress and knew both that’s gonna be the one: a fringed skirt; something I’ve been dreaming literally all my life. Of course we tried the dress I‘d initially seen online, but the second try was my beloved fringe skirt that just felt right from first second. The top we chose was simplistic, making an hourglass silhouette complete and reflected my shape and personality.”

Julia chose our Harbour top and fringed Ivy skirt for her big day and she looked utterly amazing in it. It really was the perfect choice for her and I’m totally thrilled she flew all that way to see us!.
