Gorgeous Immy | A Halfpenny London bride
Gorgeous couple Immy Willis and Ross Kelly said “I do” in September last year. They described their wedding as “a big Irish Wedding with a twist of Wes Anderson” and these images by Vicki White captured the day perfectly.
Immy hadn’t found a dress she loved during her search and I’m pleased to say we turned that around when she visited our London boutique in Woburn Walk.
“I ‘liked’ a couple of the dresses [at another store], but didn’t love them, and wondered if I’d just have to settle! I always thought I wanted a short dress, however after trying on the Jackson, the high-low was the best of both worlds. The Blossom top with the gold stitch and leather roses just completed the whole look! I had an idea in my head of what I wanted but hadn’t seen anything like this anywhere else. As soon as I saw myself I knew this was the one. I honestly have never felt so beautiful in any other clothes.
When I came to get measured, I was so anxious about my weight, and said to the stylist that I was planning to lose weight before my final fitting. She said to me, ‘you wear the dress the dress doesn't wear you‘. I decided then and there that this is my new mantra, and just carried on and enjoyed the lead up to the wedding.”
Immy looked incredible and I’m over the moon she had a great experience with us and chose to wear Halfpenny London on her big day.
Huge congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing you all the love and luck for your new adventures together.
Love,
