Beautiful Ellen | A Halfpenny London bride

Lovely couple Ellen and Adam Woollard celebrated their love with a relaxed, rustic barn wedding in March this year. Ellen already knew what she was looking for in a wedding dress and had her heart set on a Halfpenny London outfit from the beginning.

“I’d looked at other websites but nothing caught my eye quite like the Halfpenny designs. I knew I wanted something modern and simple but also timeless. Halfpenny was the first appointment I made and I didn’t need to visit anywhere else!

I visited the Woburn Walk shop and my experience was amazing. The harbour frill dress was the first dress I tried on of my entire search and it immediately felt right. Having said that the stylists had loads of options for me to try and really took into account my style and wants. Especially considering the Harbour Frill was a last minute addition to the pile! I wanted to try a wide range of different styles that were all sleek and simple. I love the fact Halfpenny offer separates and going in I thought I’d be leaving with a suit or a skirt and top!”

Ellen flirted with some other pieces in the collection but it was the Harbour Frill that changed everything.

“The Harbour frill was the first dress I tried on as a curve ball and as soon as it was zipped up I knew it was the one. I never thought I’d end up choosing a bardot neckline, but it was so comfortable (thanks to the stretch!) and flattering. I felt like myself, which was important to me, but the best version of myself!”
