Gorgeous Maeve | A Halfpenny london bride
Beautiful bride Maeve married her new husband Gearóid this May. The couple celebrated their love in their hometown of Dublin with a timeless and elegant wedding at the King’s Inns. The venue was extra meaningful for them as both are solicitors and Maeve’s parents also trained as barristers there.
When it came to her wedding dress, Maeve wanted to balance a modern and non-traditional style whilst still feeling like the best version of herself.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Halfpenny,” Maeve said. “I chose the Cedar dress as it matched exactly the simple, modern look I wanted for our city wedding but had a slightly more modest cut which made me feel so comfortable. It was the first dress I tried on that I felt really flattered my shape whilst also ticking all the boxes I had in my head during the wedding dress shopping process: simple material, classic, high neck, not clingy. I rang my sister (who is also my Maid of Honour) straight away when I tried it on to tell her about it!”
Maeve accessorised her look with a fabulous pair of white Prada platform sandals and an embellished veil. She also wore her late father’s cufflinks as earrings and a gold sapphire bracelet borrowed from her mother, personal touches I adore. The look was utterly perfect and I’m so pleased Maeve wore Halfpenny London on her special day.
Wishing the newlyweds all the love and luck in the world! Huge congratulations!
Love,
Kate & the Halfpennys xxx
