Gorgeous Nadia | A Halfpenny London Bride
Beautiful bride Nadia Scullion married Jamie Robertson in September 2021 in a minimal Scottish barn wedding, with a Scandinavian twist. Nadia’s choice of our Oliver dress and Christian skirt was the perfect choice for her big day.
“I loved the simplicity of the styles but the big skirt still gave it the wow factor,” Nadia said. “I asked the Halfpenny team to open out the front slit on the skirt more so that when I walked, you could see the outline of the dress more. Also completely loved that the skirt had pockets!! I took the skirt off for the evening part of the wedding and it felt like a whole new dress. I loved that the Oliver dress had a bit of stretch, perfect for dancing all night in.
On my wedding moodboard, I had images of Carolyn Bessett Kennedy as well as Raf Simons era Dior. This outfit felt like it ticked all these boxes, being a perfect blend of 90’s simplicity with the skirt giving a nod to a classic Dior silhouette. The dress was tailored perfectly to my body, and it gave me so much confidence walking into the church as the wedding began.”
It really was a wonderful choice. Nadia looked incredible and I love her Prada sequin headband and Byfar shoes to complete the look.
I’m thrilled to be able to share these stunning images by The Curries with you today. They really capture this love-loaded big day perfectly!
Huge congratulations to Nadia and Jamie. Wishing them all the love in the world!
Love,
