Lovely Emily | A Halfpenny london bride

This lovely English country garden celebration was exactly what lovely couple Emily and Matthew Howell Daly wanted for their big day. The couple chose a manor house in Buckinghamshire and enjoyed an outdoor ceremony, blessed with beautiful summer weather.

Emily visited our flagship boutique in Bloomsbury, London and found the perfect wedding dress to complement the stunning venue.

“Everyone at Halfpenny London was so kind and helpful. I was quite nervous when I arrived and I was put at ease immediately. The stylists were really helpful in exploring different combinations and created a look for me I never would have come up with. It was perfect! I fell in love with the Finsbury dress and Beale skirt and didn’t want to take it off. The skirt was perfect for the ceremony and made it look like a completely different outfit. It was a bit different and fitted perfectly with the venue. I wanted something to match with the gardens and this dress achieved that. Once I tried on the combination I knew it was the one.”

The Finsbury is such a gorgeous dress with its dropped waist and delicate straps, while the embroidery on the Beale skirt looks incredible layered on top. Emily looked amazing in this combination and I’m so pleased she found what she was looking for in our boutique.
