And then I tried on ‘the one’. It felt amazing. It was elegant, simple, corseted and wonderfully flattering whilst showing off my curves. The train was incredible. Material for days.

Gorgeous bride Sabrina and new husband Anraj tied the knot at the Islington Town Hall this summer, followed by a reception at the NoMad hotel. Having envisioned the look of an enchanted forest for their wedding celebrations, the NoMad’s exquisite ballroom, with its dreamy hand-painted mural portraying the night sky and tall, sculptural floral arrangements, was the perfect setting.

Sabrina enjoyed the experience of trying on different styles during her wedding dress search and eventually found her way to our London flagship boutique. “I had a good feeling about visiting Halfpenny London” Sabrina said. “I was very excited about the accessories – the bows, and veils and floaty shrugs. I tried on only two dresses and briefly flirted with the idea of a big decadent satin dress that was very opulent – a real life Bridgerton dress.”

“The Equinox dress felt amazing. It was elegant, simple, corseted and wonderfully flattering whilst showing off my curves. Romantic and classy and chic. Getting married in a hotel in London, I knew I wanted something elegant and fitted. The train was incredible. Material for days. I didn’t need to try on any more dresses.”

Excited about the prospect of adding a personal touch to her wedding look, she experimented with our bridal separates. “If I could have worn a big bow, shrug, sleeves and veil all together I would have. They all complemented the dress and made me feel amazing. The Issa shrug was the icing on the cake and the combination felt amazing.”

Sabrina looked radiant and I’m over the moon that she found the dress of her dreams at Halfpenny London. I wish the happy couple a lifetime filled with joy and happiness together!
