Lovely Michelle | A real Halfpenny London bride
Beautiful bride Michelle and her husband were married in August in a barn in Oxfordshire. Their tropical theme was reflected in Michelle's colourful bouquet, the stationary and in the hugely popular steel band which played during the reception, not to mention the perfect sunshine on their big day!
"I had visited a number of boutiques, but found there was almost too much choice and a lot of dresses that weren’t very ‘me’. I took a step back and decided to research designers that I liked the styling of and came across Halfpenny London. Every dress was beautiful and when I arrived at the shop, I fell in love with all of the styling - not only the dresses, but the interiors too and I knew I was in the right place!"
Michelle chose the Iris Lace jacket and an elegant slip and it suited her perfectly.
"I had always known I wanted some lace, but I wanted something that was a bit different too. To be able to layer on the lace top over the silk slip was the perfect solution. I felt elegant with the lace, but the silk added another level of sophistication. The way that the dress is cut was really flattering and I felt I could be comfortable in it all day. In the evening I removed the lace top and placed a silk sash across the middle of the dress, which meant I could transform my look from day to night really easily and with minimal cost!"
Congratulations to Michelle and her new husband! We hope you have countless, fabulous adventures in your new lives together.
Love,
Kate & the Halfpenny London team xxx
