Stunning Sophie | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Sophie married her beau in January this year. The couple took full advantage of all the stunning scenery the west coast has to offer, even enjoying a barefoot walk on the beach for a shoot the day after their wedding.

Sophie’s search for her wedding dress brought her to us and I’m so pleased she chose our Ellie dress as she looks stunning in it.

“I didn’t have a dream dress. I don’t believe in “the one” or “when you know you know” but I had already tried on about thirty dresses and was tossing up between a couple (so I kind of had an idea of what I didn’t like at least). Halfpenny was my last appointment I had booked. The Ellie dress was very different to all the other (very lacy and embellished) dresses I had previously tried and you could tell the quality of the fabric, structure, etc. was impeccable. I chose the Ellie dress because it was just so comfortable, and had pockets!! When I tried it on, unlike all the previous dresses I tried, I just felt like me. I think the positive experience at Halfpenny was half the reason I loved the dress so much. The stylist looked after me and it was so clear that she just wanted me to have the right dress for me, whether at Halfpenny or not. I didn’t feel like I was being sold anything, the customer service was out of this world. The appointment was really relaxed, I was allowed to take as much time as I needed and wasn’t limited to a certain number of dresses. My following appointments were with a seamstress who was out of this world dedicated to making sure I was completely happy and comfortable with my dress. Her attention to detail was incredible and made me feel relaxed because I knew I was in such good hands!”
