Beautiful Caroline | A real Halfpenny London bride
Beautiful bride Caroline and her lovely new hubby tied the knot last December in a dreamy, romantic big day surrounded by their family and friends.
Caroline found wedding dress shopping the most overwhelming experience of the whole wedding planning process. She lives in Liverpool so, before making the trip to our boutique in London, she’d tried on a few different dresses but hadn’t yet had the feeling of finding the one.
“My experience at the Halfpenny London Boutique was everything I had dreamed of and more for finding my dream dress. The Boutique is gorgeously styled and is such a dreamy space. I tried on the Euston & RiRi with a few different style corsets. I loved all the versatility of the collections, but I loved the RiRi skirt and Dita Corset. The endless ruffles of the skirt and the slight stretch in the corset fitted so perfectly and was very flattering. The look reflected my style and personality.
There are more styles than I ever imagined. I always thought I’d wear a skin-tight fitted style dress but the moment I tried on the RiRi by Halfpenny I knew I’d found the one! Both pieces channeled the different elements of my style and personality perfectly. I felt like a dreamy wintery bride and from the reaction of my mum, sister and niece, I had to have it. On my wedding day, a few my guests commented on how perfectly the dress suited my style and reflected me so well, like it was made for me.”
The Riri is such a gorgeous, statement piece and Caroline looks sensational in it. We made her beautiful veil and the trim matched the waistband of her skirt to tie it all in. Caroline finished off her bridal look with a handmade tiara by Katie Mangan Millinery, a gorgeous pair of Christian Louboutin heels and a Boodles necklace, which was a gift from her parents.
