Beautiful Rebecca | A Halfpenny London bride
Beautiful bride Rebecca Taylor and her new husband Harvey said “I do” last September on a vineyard in Tuscany, their favourite place in the world.
“We wanted it to feel relaxed, rustic and romantic,” Rebecca said. “Our flowers were all local, all wine was made at our wedding vineyard and our theme was for our wedding to flow out of the local countryside.”
Before coming to visit our London boutique, Rebecca had found dress shopping less fun than she’d hoped.
“I felt nothing suited me perfectly and all dresses either felt like I was wearing a mums/grandmothers dress or was too revealing/sexy. I wanted something that complimented my figure, my personality and a style that I would wear even if it wasn’t my wedding dress.
As soon as I was engaged I fell in love with your Cheryl dress and the Mayfair skirt after seeing it on your instagram – it was like nothing else I had ever seen. I visited your Woburn Walk boutique with my mum and mother-in-law and it was the first thing I tried on.. however it just did not suit me. The stylist then suggested the Cedar and told me to just trust her as she had been listening and had a feeling this was exactly what I was after. As soon as I put it on I just knew it was my dress. It felt like me on my wedding day! I was perfect, I loved how feminine and modern it was, whilst also looking timeless and something I would wear if not a wedding dress. The veil also took my breath away, it felt so Italian and I knew it would be the perfect lace accessory to bring the Italian vineyard into my look.
Everyone at your boutique made me feel so special, and I have to specifically call out Summer who made every single fitting appointment special, fun and easy – she made my dress even more perfect than I could have hoped.”
