Beautiful Remy | A Halfpenny London bride
Stunning bride Remy Farrell married Nathan Tuft at Fulham Palace this summer. The couple are known by their guests for their laid-back, fun-loving spirit and they wanted to keep that feeling throughout their wedding, ended the evening with a fun party, complete with Mariachi band.
“As a fashion editor,” Remy told The Wedding Edition, “there was a lot of interest in what I would choose to wear on my wedding day, and though part of me loved the idea of wearing a micro mini or a cool, wide-leg suit, I chose to do the opposite and wear something that would be the most unexpected of me—a big, traditional white dress. It almost pains me to say it as I know so many brides find the journey stressful, but I saw the one on Instagram almost straight away and I knew there and then it was my dream dress. I’d gone into the process totally open minded and ready to try anything, and it hadn’t occurred to me just how perfect a simple, white, mikado dress would be until it fortuitously popped up in my feed. Every time I look back at photos I end up marvelling at just how good the construction and fit of the dress was, and I know I’ll still feel the same way in 10 years time. I think that’s the true testament of the perfect dress.”
I loved working with Remy and the Dahlia dress was the perfect choice for her. She looked incredible and I’m thrilled she chose to wear Halfpenny London on her special day.
Sending all my love to the happy couple! Wishing them both a lifetime of love and happiness.
Love,
Kate & the Halfpennys xxx
