I often get asked for my tips on how to make a wedding unique and truly personal to the couple. My main piece of advice is to be yourself. It’s so simple, yet can often get clouded or confused by what we ‘should’ do, or what we feel is expected of us. Whatever you want to do on your big day, any personal touches big or small, just go for it! Couples are using their weddings to show the world who they are together, and also who they are as individuals, and I wholeheartedly encourage this. I love seeing brides in unique outfits they feel incredible wearing, in addition to all the personal touches couples are adding to their special day, like their favourite fragrance, for example.

What advice would you give brides when trying to establish their signature scent?
“Selecting a signature scent for your wedding day is a deeply personal journey. Begin by exploring fragrances that resonate with your individuality. Consider scents that evoke fond memories or emotions and align with the overall theme and mood of your wedding. Whether it's the romantic allure of florals, the timeless elegance of oriental notes, or the modern freshness of citrus, let your perfume be a reflection of your unique style. Ultimately, your signature scent should make you feel confident and ready for your special day.”
Do you have any tips on how to use fragrance to compliment your bridal style?
“Fragrance is a subtle yet powerful accessory that can enhance your bridal style. There’s often a misconception that scents on your wedding day always have to be light, floral and dreamy but there is no rule book –take a nod from your bridal style. If you're opting for a classic and elegant look, you could explore perfumes with floral accords that never go out of style such as rose, jasmine and gardenia. For a more modern feel, you may be drawn to fresh, green and citrus notes – think vetiver, galbanum and bergamot. If your bridal style is ‘show-stopper’, look for notes which pack a punch – warm ouds, leather and rich red fruits such as raspberry and strawberry. Your chosen fragrance should seamlessly harmonize with the overall aesthetic, creating a sensory experience that complements your bridal ensemble.”

Weddings can have long days! How can a bride ensure her perfume lasts all day long?

Consider using a matching scented body lotion for an additional layer of longevity. For quick touch-ups, keep a travel-sized perfume handy, allowing you to refresh your chosen scent effortlessly and carry it with you from ceremony to celebration.”
