Gorgeous Greta | A Halfpenny London Bride

Gorgeous bride Greta Wraybatten married Pete Batten this summer with a relaxed London wedding surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

“We just wanted a fun day celebrating the city of London where we met,” Greta said, “and to share that with family and friends who were travelling from all over.”

Greta visited our London flagship boutique during her search for her dream wedding dress.

“I only visited one other boutique before Halfpenny and thought I would be going to quite a few more after! However, once I stepped into the beautiful showroom just off of Kings Cross and saw several of the pieces - I knew I wouldn’t be going anywhere else! My first appointment was with Niamh, who was very chatty and supportive of the various outfit combinations I requested. Her opinion was honest and kind and she was very patient considering how indecisive I was!

I ended up choosing the Cheryl satin dress because I utterly fell in love with the material and the neckline. I always knew I didn’t want anything too big, and I just felt so elegant and graceful from the moment I put it on. The silhouette was stunning, and I truly felt like a glamorous bride but one that could also move!”

The Cheryl is one of our Icons, so timeless and elegant. Greta looked incredible wearing it!
