Beautiful bride Kate and her new husband Max Julvé celebrated their love in a timeless, elegant ceremony filled with heartfelt personal touches. Kate loved the wedding planning process from start to finish and enjoyed every moment. When the time came to find the wedding dress of her dreams, she visited our London flagship boutique.

“Halfpenny had my heart from the start!” Kate said. “I immediately fell in love with the Breeze dress as soon as Hawa, the stylist, showed it to me. The streamlined bodice and full shirt with the ruffled hem confirmed it was the dress for me. I also adored how this dress had pockets too. I paired it with the Ariel bow as I absolutely love a statement piece and also incorporated this into my bridesmaids with them each wearing a beautiful bow in their hair. Halfpenny very sweetly embroidered ‘mama’ with the date of our wedding in above my heart into my dress in a soft blue thread, and I paired my dress with a lace veil, which was my ‘something borrowed’ from a friend.”

Kate incorporated so many heartfelt personal touches into her wedding look and I just adore hearing about the special ways our brides celebrate and honour their loved ones.

“On the note of something old, borrowed, and blue— I wore my late mother’s my blue sapphire engagement ring. It was such a special gesture — it made me feel like she was right there with me. I wore my Noémi Eska gold necklace engraved with my late mother’s fingerprint and handwriting ‘the Bundles’ on the back – incredibly special to me. My engagement ring is a bespoke brilliant cut trilogy diamond ring. My Fiancé, Max, designed it himself, and I love it.”
