Beautiful Kathryn | A Halfpenny London bride
Gorgeous couple Kathryn and Iwan said “I do”in the south of Italy in the most magical Masseria. They focussed on good food, good wine and great company for their weekend-long celebration with friends and family.
Kathryn’s quest to find her perfect wedding dress led her to many different places, but the more dresses she tried on the more confused she became.
“I felt like I was playing dress up,” she said. “I didn’t really want to wear something straight off the rack and didn’t have a clear vision. I just wanted a dress that would make me feel like me. I then arrive at Halfpenny, a gorgeous little boutique set in the cobbled Woburn Walk. It felt pretty magical from the start. I came with my younger sister Chloe and had the best time. My whole dress shopping experience changed in an instant.
We tried on many looks, experimented with what I did and didn’t like, and found the dress. I went for the Iris slip dress as my base and the Halfpenny stylist made a great suggestion that we could add on a train to give a bit more glamour to the simple base look. I loved this idea! The shrug added some drama and made me feel so fab as soon as I put on. It was a must have. I loved that fact I could combine elements from two styles in the collection to make my ideal look. The dresses are modern and made me feel unique, but most importantly I felt like me.
One visit to Halfpenny, one hour later and it was the easiest decision to make.”
