Beautiful bride Rosie and new husband Joe tied the knot in May this year, gathering their friends and loved ones together for a London city wedding that felt like an intimate, elegant, and fun dinner party.
When she started her wedding dress search, Rosie didn’t have a clear vision of what she was looking for, but knew it was important that she felt like herself on her special day. Our Woburn Walk boutique was the first (and only!) boutique she visited.
“I instantly fell in love with the Foxglove dress and the Ellie skirt and cancelled my other appointments,” Rosie said. “I knew it was the one because it felt classic, elegant, yet fun and modern all in one. The team made me feel so relaxed and I genuinely enjoyed the experience and wish I could go back and do it again.”

We love when brides embrace the possibilities within our collection of separates, transforming their look with statement sleeves, oversized bows and dramatic overskirts. A true Halfpenny London bride, Rosie loved the idea of adding an extra layer to her ceremony look. With the gorgeous Ellie skirt, she added volume and a touch of drama to the Foxglove dress, an elegant and sophisticated design with long sleeves, an open back and bow detail. “It was so fun to have two different looks.”
Rosie couldn’t have chosen a better accessory than our Dandelion veil, a romantic piece that added a gorgeous contrast to the modern look of the Foxglove dress, whilst complementing the full silhouette of the Ellie skirt perfectly. She completed her look with a pair of Gucci shoes, minimal jewellery, and a peony bouquet.
Rosie looked radiant on her wedding day and I am thrilled she found her way to our boutique. I so enjoyed getting a glimpse into the newlyweds’ special day with these beautiful pictures, and wish the happy couple all the luck in the world.
