“My mum was the one who said the Cheryl dress was the perfect dress for me, I tried it on with the Ariel bow and instantly fell in love with how both of the pieces looked together!”
Newlyweds Ashley and Tom tied the knot last November in a romantic English countryside wedding. Embracing the winter season, the couple enjoyed a beautiful celebration at Kelmarsh hall followed by an intimate candlelit dinner. In a lovely personal touch, Ashley enlisted the help of her grandma, who styled roses, chrysanthemums and amaranthus throughout the venue.
Ashley’s search for the perfect gown brought her to our flagship boutique in Bloomsbury, London.
“I wanted my mum to be the only person to see my dress before the wedding and help me on the search for my dress,” she said. “I remember loving all of the designs on the Halfpenny website and deep down knew it would be the place where I would find my wedding dress. We visited many bridal shops before Halfpenny and was so deflated after not finding anything I liked. We definitely left the best till last!”

“I remember being so excited to visit the Halfpenny flagship store in London and was in love with all of the fabrics and designs. I tried on many dresses and Lola was super welcoming and was so lovely and helpful. My mum was the one who said the Cheryl dress was the perfect dress for me, I tried it on with the Ariel bow and instantly fell in love with how both of the pieces looked together! It portrayed classic with a modern twist. For my alterations, Summer was amazing and made me feel absolutely stunning in my dress, she did a fantastic job!”
