Beautiful bride Cecilia married her new husband Duncan last September in the spectacular setting of Provence. Working with an already beautiful venue, the couple chose to keep the décor light and natural, complementing the Château with pink and green florals.

When it came to her dress search, Cecilia had a clear vision for her dream look.

“I only went to a few other dress shops before Halfpenny London,” Cecilia said, “but I have to say Halfpenny was the one I was looking forward to the most as I had my eyes set on the Cheryl split dress, and it did not disappoint! The warm and friendly welcome, the beautiful shop all to ourselves – it was amazing!”

“My appointment at Halfpenny London was so special as my mother was able to join me (she lives in the USA) and my best friend. I was so excited as I had seen the Cheryl split dress on Instagram and was dying to try it on! The stylist was so welcoming and friendly; and what a setting - the shop is so beautiful – I loved the experience.

I decided to have an overskirt to elevate the whole outfit and make it a bit more ‘ceremonial’. I loved the delicate pattern and fabric of the Scotty skirt, and my husband is a Scot, so I thought that was a nice little touch!

For the big day, Marion Garcin from GAMA events created a beautiful bouquet of mini calla lilies to compliment Cecilia’s dress. Pink heather, clematis and lisianthus decorated the aisle, a nod to the venue as these blooms can be found growing in the gardens of the Château.

Each detail of Cecilia’s bridal look was beautifully curated, with special touches like the ribbon of her heels mirroring the ties of the Cheryl dress. She completed the look with gold pendant earrings and a pearl and diamond bracelet from her mother.
