As well as the fantastic event at the Ace hotel last weekend, the team also attended Brides the Show at Kensington Olympia. For the weekend of 21st - 23rd September, Olympia was transformed! Brides Fashion Director, the epic and amazing Bryony Toogood, created a magical 'Dreamland' space where fairytale, fantasy and fashion went hand-in-hand.
Thoroughly Modern Marriage | Ace Hotel with Knot & Pop
The Halfpennys and I were lucky enough to join the lovely team at the The Ace Hotel on their Rooftop for A Thoroughly Modern Marriage, an experience created in partnership with London-based wedding planners Knot & Pop. We met so many fantastic couples there and all of the suppliers really pulled it out of the bag to make it a superb event.

"We embraced all things spring like for our day – inspired by the season and the dress! We wanted it to be a really relaxed celebration so filled the day with little surprises for our guests like a fab magician in the afternoon, live music and a saxophone in the evening. We ate lamb, drank gin and embraced the sunshine!"

Beautiful bride Leah and her new husband Harry married last September in the beautiful setting of Bruisyard Hall, Saxmundham which was perfect for their autumn inspired celebrations which included a few nods to Leah’s family’s Caribbean roots. Leah came to see us at our Bloomsbury boutique and chose a stellar combination of our Andrea corset and feathered Swan skirt.

Lovely photographer Andreu Doz first shared these gorgeous pictures over on facebook and I knew I had to repost them. How amazing does Gill look in our Charlotte gown? Gill and Chris brought their friends and families all the way from Scotland to celebrate their big day in Catalunya, Spain. Their ceremony was at a gorgeous venue (Casa Felix) and their guests marvelled at the lovely setting, the food and, of course, how gorgeous Gill looked.

Kristy was lucky enough to find her dream dress in our sample sale. She booked an appointment as soon as she heard and left with her dress in her hand, a very happy bride-to-be!
